# cPanel API 2 Functions - LangMods::magic_status

Warning:

## Description

This function checks whether a cPanel-supported scripting language has
magic status enabled.

Warning:
We **strongly** recommend that you use [UAPI](/cpanel/introduction/) instead of cPanel API 2. However, no equivalent UAPI function exists.
