# Delete Dynamic DNS domain

This function deletes an existing Dynamic DNS (DDNS) domain.

Important:

When you disable the _DNS_ role, the system disables this function.

## Query parameters:

  - `id` (string, required)
    The DDNS domain’s ID.
    Example: "ggiugyxxjwnkmqtwysgmvrurplmafxpq"

    The name of the method called.
    Example: "delete"

  - `module` (string)
    The name of the module called.
    Example: "DynamicDNS"

    Information about the deletion.

  - `result.data.deleted` (number)
    Whether a DDNS domain with the given ID existed for deletion.

* 0 - No DDNS domain with the given ID existed.
* 1 - A DDNS domain with the given ID existed but is now deleted.
    Enum: 0, 1

  - `result.errors` (array,null)
    List of errors if the API failed.

  - `result.messages` (array,null)
    List of messages generated by the API.

  - `result.metadata` (object)

  - `result.metadata.transformed` (integer)
    Post-processing may have transformed the data.
    Enum: 1

- 0 - Failed: Check the errors field for more details.
    Enum: 0, 1
