# Delete email account's outgoing messages

This function deletes all outbound email messages held in the mail queue for the specified email account.



  When you disable the  role, the system  this function.

## Query parameters:

  - `email` (string, required)
    The email address to query.
    Example: "username@example.com"

## Response 200 fields (application/json):

  - `apiversion` (integer)
    The version of the API.
    Example: 3

  - `func` (string)
    The name of the method called.
    Example: "delete_held_messages"

  - `module` (string)
    The name of the module called.
    Example: "Email"

  - `result` (object)

  - `result.data` (integer)
    The number of held outbound email messages deleted from the mail queue.



  This function returns a  value when no messages exist in the queue.

  - `result.errors` (array,null)
    List of errors if the API failed.

  - `result.messages` (array,null)
    List of messages generated by the API.

  - `result.status` (integer)
