# Return email account's outgoing message count

This function returns the count of outbound email messages held in the mail queue for the specified email account.



When you disable the Receive Mail role, the system  this function.

## Query parameters:

  - `email` (string)
    The email address to query.
    Example: "username@example.com"

## Response 200 fields (application/json):

  - `apiversion` (integer)
    The version of the API.
    Example: 3

  - `func` (string)
    The name of the method called.
    Example: "get_held_message_count"

  - `module` (string)
    The name of the module called.
    Example: "Email"

    The number of messages currently held in the mail queue.

    List of errors if the API failed.

    List of messages generated by the API.
