# Stop email account's outgoing mail

This function sets Exim's queue to not send outgoing mail from an email account.



* To send all mail from the queue, use the UAPI  function.
* To reject outgoing mail and not place mail in a queue, use the UAPI  function.
* This function does  hold local outgoing mail.

## Query parameters:

  - `email` (string, required)
    The email account's username.
    Example: "username@example.com"

  - `apiversion` (integer)
    The version of the API.
    Example: 3

  - `func` (string)
    The name of the method called.
    Example: "hold_outgoing"

  - `module` (string)
    The name of the module called.
    Example: "Email"

    List of errors if the API failed.

  - `result.messages` (array,null)
    List of messages generated by the API.
