# Return cPanel account's mailbox autocreate status

This function checks whether a cPanel account will automatically create mailboxes when it receives an email address in plus address format.



To enable or disable this functionality, use the UAPI's  and  functions.

## Query parameters:

  - `email` (string, required)
    The email account address to query.
    Example: "username@example.com"

    The version of the API.

    The name of the method called.
    Example: "get_mailbox_autocreate"

  - `module` (string)
    The name of the module called.
    Example: "Email"

    Whether the cPanel account can automatically create mailboxes.
