# Return if cPanel account's mailboxes use UTF-8

This function determines whether a cPanel user currently uses UTF-8 character-encoded mailbox names.

Endpoint: GET /Mailboxes/has_utf8_mailbox_names

## Query parameters:

  - `user` (string)
    The user for whom to determine whether they currently use UTF-8
character-encoded mailbox names.

Note:

This parameter defaults to the currently-logged in user.
    Example: "user"

    The version of the API.
    Example: 3

    The name of the method called.
    Example: "has_utf8_mailbox_names"

  - `module` (string)
    The name of the module called.
    Example: "Mailboxes"

    Whether the user currently uses UTF-8 character-encoded mailbox names.
* 1 - Uses UTF-8 character-encoded mailbox names.
* 0 - Does not use UTF-8 character-encoded mailbox names.

    List of errors if the API failed.

  - `result.messages` (array,null)
    List of messages generated by the API.

  - `result.metadata` (object)

- 0 - Failed: Check the errors field for more details.
    Enum: 0, 1
