# Update mailing list password

This function changes a mailing list's password.



When you disable the _Receive Mail_ role, the system  this function.

## Query parameters:

  - `list` (string, required)
    The full name (including the domain) of a Mailman mailing list on the cPanel account.
    Example: "mylist@example.com"

  - `password` (string, required)
    The new password.
    Example: "12345luggage"

    The version of the API.

    The name of the method called.
    Example: "passwd_list"

    The name of the module called.
