# Enable remote MySQL host access

This function authorizes a remote MySQL® host to access the account's databases.



When you disable the MySQL role
 and remote MySQL is  already configured,
 the system  this function.

Endpoint: GET /Mysql/add_host

Security: BasicAuth

## Query parameters:

  - `host` (any, required)
    The remote MySQL server's hostname or IP address.

You may use the following IP address formats:

*  — IP address.
*  — Range with the percent (%) symbol as a wildcard.
*  — Range in CIDR format.
    Example: "192.168.1.6"

## Response 200 fields (application/json):

  - `apiversion` (integer)
    The version of the API.
    Example: 3

  - `func` (string)
    The name of the method called.
    Example: "add_host"

  - `module` (string)
    The name of the module called.
    Example: "Mysql"

    List of errors if the API failed.

    List of messages generated by the API.
