# Return nameserver's IP address

This function retrieves a nameserver's IP address.

Endpoint: GET /lookupnsip
Version: 11.134.0.5
Security: BasicAuth

## Query parameters:

  - `host` (string, required)
    The nameserver's hostname.
    Example: "ns1.example.com"

## Response 200 fields (application/json):

  - `data` (object)

  - `data.ip` (string)
    The nameserver's IP address.
    Example: "192.168.0.20"

  - `metadata` (object)

  - `metadata.command` (string)
    The method name called.
    Example: "lookupnsip"

  - `metadata.reason` (string)
    The reason the API function failed when the  field is . This field may display a success message when a function succeeds.
