# Enable ModSecurity vendor updates

This function enables automatic updates for a ModSecurity™ vendor.



When you disable the
Web Server role,
the system  this function.

## Query parameters:

  - `vendor_id` (string, required)
    The vendor's unique short name.
    Example: "example"
